ABOUT US
The Choral Directors’ Association (Singapore) was formed in 2002 to promote the art of choral singing in Singapore with the following objectives:
To improve the professional status of the choral director
To develop and sustain communication among all groups of professionals directly involved with the development and improvement of choral curriculum and instruction
To provide any assistance to the membership that will insure the highest level of musicianship within choral music
To organise conduct talks, workshops, courses, seminars, conventions, symposiums, excursions, tours, competitions festivals and other events for the promotion and advancement of the choral programme.
The CDAS have since organised various events like workshops for conductors and student leaders, choral exchange programme, repertoire reading sessions and also as a communication avenue with the Co-Curricular Activities Board (CCAB).
