Stefenie Rachel Wong is a Singaporean musician, pianist and music educator and holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours with Distinction), and a Minor in English Linguistics and Classical Literature from the University of Manchester. In 2019, she graduated with Distinction from the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts majoring in Piano Performance as one out of six choral scholars, during which she also attained her Licentiate of the Royal School of Music.

Having performed both locally and abroad, Stefenie has experience performing a wide range of repertoire for classical piano, solo singing, and choir. She has had opportunities to work with local choirs such as CHIJ (Katong) Convent Choir, Pasir Ris Secondary School Choir, Singapore Lyric Opera, Singapore Symphony Chorus and EVOKX. During her time in Cambridge, she sang and performed with the Trinity College Choir under the baton of Stephen Layton as well as worked with the Kings’ Junior Voices as an accompanist and vocal trainer. Stefenie served as the Conductor and Music Director of the Ad Solem Chamber Choir, a chamber choir consisting of music scholars at the University of Manchester, and has conducted performances at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, as well as the Royal Festival Hall and Royal Albert Hall in London. Stefenie thoroughly enjoys developing her performance skills whilst gaining work experience and valuable exposure.

As a multidisciplinary practitioner, Stefenie’s pedagogy is shaped by literature and all aspects of the arts. She has a strong passion for arts education and believes in the nurturing of music talent and interest in young children. Stefenie believes in the building of community and music literacy in choral music. She places strong emphasis on the importance of arts and music education and its ability to impact and shape an individual, psychologically and cognitively. Stefenie currently conducts and runs the choral programmes at Bedok South Secondary School Choir, CHIJ (Katong) Primary School Choir, and Zhenghua Primary School Choir.
