Stephenie Lee
Member
Stephenie Lee holds Diplomas in Piano Performance and Instrumental Teaching, as well as certificates in Kodaly Music Education, Conducting, and Vocal Pedagogy. Her university education in Pharmacy, together with her interest in Vocal Health and Pedagogy, has also led her to achieve a certificate in Vocal Health First Aid.
Stephenie is the current conductor of secondary school choirs Pei Hwa Secondary, Unity Secondary and St Joseph’s Convent, where she is passionate about developing vocal technique, musicianship and literacy, as well as care for adolescent changing voices.
Besides conducting school choirs, Stephenie is also one of the pioneering conductors for the Voices of Singapore Children’s Choir (VOSCC), an organisation with the mission of nurturing children towards choral music excellence, where she is currently the conductor of the VOSCC Senior Choirs.
Stephenie has also had experience teaching general music at Pathlight School, an autism-focused school for children with special needs. Students under Stephenie span a variety of ages and ability levels, and are all testimonies of her versatility and commitment as a teacher.
Her conviction to continuing education and life-long learning shows in her ever-expanding list of credentials; Stephenie is currently pursuing a music diploma in Singing and a Masters in Choral Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College, Rider University.
