Yvonne Yee

Yvonne has graduated with a masters degree at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music - Zoltán Kodály Pedagogical Institute of Music, under the tutelage of Dr. Nóra Keresztes in solfege training, Dr. Anna Fűri in choral conducting and Dr. Renáta Darázs in voice training. During this period, she had the opportunity to conduct the institute choir, as well as the choral conducting specialisation chorus. Prior to that, Yvonne has received her Postgraduate Diploma in Education in music, and she had been working as a specialised music educator in schools since 2015.

Apart from teaching, Yvonne studied composition under Dr. Chong Kee Yong and Ms. Belinda Foo during her undergraduate studies. Since then, she has written works and arrangements for various ensemble settings. Yvonne also enjoys singing in various contexts, from A Cappella groups to small vocal ensembles and large choirs. Ever since her first official public performance at the Noise Apprenticeship Programme organized by the NAC in 2008, she has performed with The A Cappella Society, Vox Camerata, Tulipán Vocal Ensemble and The Joyful Voices.
