CDAS Convention 2026 - Student Track

Venue: Aliwal Arts Centre. 28 Aliwal Street, #03-02, Singapore 199918

Cost: S$60 per student

The workshop is an excellent opportunity for student choristers to hone their skills as young musicians, learn to run effective warm-ups, explore vocal technique, deepen their understanding of rehearsal technique and score interpretation, and grow as Music Leaders. The students will explore selected repertoire over the course of the workshop, and will be led through interactive activities and exercises to build camaraderie and develop teamwork that student leaders can later share with their own choirs. The two-day workshop will culminate in a concert, where the students will form a choir and have the opportunity to perform the selected repertoire together. Students will also get the opportunity to conduct the choir.

This is a rare opportunity for student leaders from school choirs to interact and learn, and this experience will not only help them grow as performers but also give them the confidence and discipline needed to succeed in leading their choral activities. Do encourage your students to join us at this workshop and take advantage of this fantastic learning opportunity.
