What does the choral "canon" mean for today's ensembles, and how might we move beyond it responsibly? This interactive workshop invites conductors to explore different approaches to repertoire through rehearsal demonstrations, singing, and improvisation. Participants will gain practical strategies for introducing new sound worlds, helping singers learn unfamiliar scores more efficiently, and engaging with accessible contemporary works. The session also reflects on the role of the conductor as composer and arranger, and considers how commissioning (even on a modest scale) can shape the future of choral music.

It's a sobering reminder of how fragile peace can be and how a single individual's judgment can carry the weight of the entire world. Stories like this deserve to…
I read the article about rehearsing with Kenneth Tay and how much heart and practice go into each performance, and it really shows how hard work counts in art. When I had a tough school week, I felt stuck and even looked to pay someone to take my online teas exam because I needed help, and I used Take My Online Exam Pro to stay on track with my studies. That kind of support helped me focus like a musician in rehearsal. That calm practice mindset really makes sense here. Nice post, it make me smile. Good.
